Related Experience

Maria has always been involved in numerous youth volunteer roles as well as in professional facilitative projects. She takes most pride in co-founding an enrichment program called “girls to Greatness” or “g2G!,” for an all girls elementary school. At g2G, Maria helped design and conduct a module-based curriculum that provides life skills to the students. 

Maria also guides youth in career choices through visioning workshops or one-on-one mentoring, using a competency based approach in determining the direction of their educational journey and long-term life goals. She continues to work with a horse assisted approach in her own coaching work as well as a volunteer facilitator with an organization called “The Spirit of Leadership" based in Novelty, Ohio.
